今天所有各种语言原本应该朝气活力的电台早晨节目都愁云惨雾。前首相阿都拉连同四大宗教一同在机场祈祷。No one would mind when my favor was asked to do a live cross reporting for different languages news from my ex colleague for free because I just so happened in KLIA even some were kidding saying I should charge like a legal fee. My point is, Malaysia, do you see it? We don't have to quarrel over Allah issue, dispute over racism, fighting over special rights. Didn't know it would have been so much chaos about MH370 on Facebook. I flew with MAS just right after I heard the news. Whether it worries me to fly? Yes, for the first time. Whether I am concerned about that? Yes, I dreamed about that a lot last night. Whether it hinders me from chasing my flying dream? Yes, maybe but not much. But what makes me worries more is how Malaysian react to that. How a civilized and developed mind would move to the direction of blaming government and coming up with conspiracy theory when this incident has nothing much to do with them? It links to crisis management, yes. It links to incapability, might so. But what it has to do with the government or how do you relate that to the election? Someone educate me please, anyone. Thanks for people who care about that, pray for that. At least you didn't do harm nor curse anyone. Congratulation for people who started pointing finger to someone. You just brought ignorance to a whole new level. Well done for people who spread unverified news. You have just proven stupidity actually exist in this 21st century. Any sound mind wouldn't go that far I suppose. So much for 2020. Yes, I hate my government. But that does not make me irrational. #MH370

ChoKang Lew Yeap well said. They might be taking granted in answering public compared to some other countries' media. But to certain extend I understand why, maybe because I was myself a media before. But still, the government should not bare they whole 'they'. No one wants this to happen. No one ever will. If public do care, maybe stop blaming and start praying would create a little bit more positive energy. At least god can know what prayer to answer to. Haha.

Mei Tan Singapore sent thier vessel not submarine. If u following the news, malaysia government did sent our rescue vessel there as well. About the sub, we are strictly prohibited to discuss in the public or elsewhere. The information of this asset contains of the country's security issue which is highly confidential.

Our current Minister of Law's personal opinion of special rights for indigenous in Malaysia: "We don't want to help them, but someone has to balance the economic status between them and other races. 也许大家不会认同我，也许将被人广乏宣传辱骂。但我相信民主的真正意义，所以我还是要说。 经过一天的沉淀和分析，5月5，小弟认为其实问题症结主要在于： 1. 选举委员会的独立性和透明度。 2. 不公平的选区划分(Gerrymandering) 有人说许多幽灵选票，有人说孟加拉人侵犯我国，有人说计票中心停电，有人说国阵会变魔术... 怪我孤陋寡闻，请大家赐教。 1. 每一个投票中心（课室），两党候选人各自都有监票员代表，他们的工作就是确保每一个人符合选名册的岁数和身份证号码。如果一名100高龄或者不像本地人的选民出现，他们绝对有权利提出反对。哪来幽灵选民？虽然似乎只要身份符合，持有身份证，‘外劳’最后还是可以投票，但至少监票员会有表格记录。至今似乎没有听说监票员对此投诉，连流传也没有，哪来那么多‘外劳投票’？而且需要载送一批外劳去投票，怎么不会引人注目？目前流传和报道出现的只是小猫两三只，就算真的是来充当选民，其得了多少作用？ 2. 也许我很天真地相信网民什么都会先po上网无民共享，有或许我真的是网络白痴，我很努力地search，请问计票中心停电的证据在哪里？ 3. 同样地，突然飞来的”外来选票”，又是什么一回事？你从哪里得知？ 听说选举官会刁难计票员，可是我看到的，他们恨不得让你自己做完所有工作，心服口服又没烦恼。如果真的要鸡蛋挑骨头的话，真的有舞弊，顶多他们念身份证号码或机票时念快些，让你跟不上他然后扰乱视线等，只要你觉得可能对你不公，身为监票或计票员，都有权利反对。如果你不敢或者不好意思，麻烦怪你代表的候选人为什么当初那么没眼光。 所以，5月5，国阵重夺政权，民间那么多不满的声音，是因为选举委员会不够独立。因为它隶属首相署，老板始终是当朝政府。就算选委会真的是立场独立，人民还是没有信心它不偏袒国阵，也没有办法认同整个投票程序是透明进行，更认为邮寄选票不被篡改是天方夜谭。若要说服反对的人，若有心搞好国家，就把它真正的独立化（顺道一提，反贪会也一样）。这样，就算褪色墨汁会变颜色，也没有人会又好像如今的大反应。 Gerrymandering相信浏览网络的大家都已略知一二。基本上就是在A区，一个议员代表9千位选民，而在B区就6万为选民也同样只有一个代表。这是方便当朝政府在国会获胜，因为要拿下政权，靠的不是选民人数，而是国席多寡。这是技术上的问题。 这只有国会三分二通过才能修改的其中一条宪法条例，我相信最原始的大马宪法肯定和现在不一样。国阵多次拿下三分二，应该就是当时靠这样技术性地修该宪法，导致今天技术性的胜利。 就是这样简单，民联才会败北。 直到今天，我还是想讲：“网上充斥太多阴谋论，大家要小心。政府是要换，可是选民也不要被怒气冲昏头，散播未经证实消息。这样会贬低自己支持的政党，拉低素质，让对方多一个攻击的机会。 ” 套一句梁文道的话：“网络意见的分歧，会导致个别组织的极端” 很多人不喜欢郑丁贤，也许就是因为他说了一些也许是事实，但是大家就是不爱听的话。 你说要民主自由，我不是民主专家，可是我知道强迫别人跟随你肯定不叫做民主。侮辱支持对方阵营的人更加不是民主。 你说不要歧视，我也不是歧视专家，但口口声声辱骂孟加拉外劳为‘Bangla’ 或 'Mangali'，看到非洲裔说‘黑鬼’，西方人为‘鬼佬’， 也不会是‘没有种族色彩’的歧视。无论他们做错什么，都和他们的颜色没有关系。 大家在网络上发表政见，不再政治冷漠，固然是好。可是如果相识多年的朋友因为持不同政见而反目成仇的话，未免太过狂热和反应过敏。请大家要懂得和政治切割，不要让政治融入整个生活。 其实政府控制了主流媒体，反对党何尝也不是主宰了网络媒体。 所以拜托大家，发挥自己的思考能力，相信自己的理性，绝对不是眼睛，更加不是耳朵。 我没有期望什么，只是希望大家要理性思考，成熟应对。 国家需要的，不是是进步。 忘了说，我是民联行动党的监票和计票员。 Long story short, the root problems for May 5th perhaps are only the in-dependency and transparency of the Election Commission, plus gerrymandering. Today you are alleging dirty tricks were used, accusing phantom voters and even foreigners might be flown in to vote, asserting a black out miraculously brought extra ballot box, claiming the rightful government should be PR. But, correct me if I am wrong. I wonder, how can PR's PACABA not voicing their objections towards a weird looking voters? How can PR's PACABA not realising there were huge vans sending in many 'foreigners' to vote? How can PR's PACABA not raising doubt towards the 'extra ballot boxes' which do not appear on Borang 14 which has been tallied and signed by both side's PACABA and let it proceed? Where is the blackout's video to prove it did actually happen? Perhaps had EC not answered to Prime Minister Department, and the constituencies' boundaries were all being fair distributed, no such like dispute would have occurred today. There are a lot of different kind info up here. Some are unconfirmed news, some are malicious rumours, and some are simply nothing than throwing mud, discrediting, defaming or embarrassing someone. Do not curse on your dissidents, that is not democracy. Do not put a racial label on someone who may do something wrong, that is narrow minded discrimination. And all these, afterall, are not what Bersih and many NGOs, even PR are fighting for. We as a smart person, there is a part we should do and a role we should play - be rational. BN controls the mainstream media, isn't PR colonising the social media, too? I do not normally encourage people to get info from social media, unless you are smart enough to filter it. We need a maturity and civilisation, to move forward.

Tay Eng Yeou I am PACA. my school got Ketua refuse to give us form 14 ( evidence of counting result), we argued for 1 hour only he give so the result delayed. And due to overwhelming, they use 2 kerani satu instead of 1, so it's very difficult to keep track of the voters count as well. Others I duno la, but that's what I experience, maybe they are not well trained so there are so many dispute.

CynDee SinYee yup. 是很難。但也有機會。我是覺得pacaba的training不夠。不應該選舉前一個月才來招收。training不夠，你就很容易被有心人欺壓並且還不敢出聲反抗。pacaba的素質也需要filter。

ChoKang Lew Tay Eng Yeou yeah basically i think everything can be objected by the assigned pacaba.say the borang 14 is finally signed and given, even there are extra ballot boxes brought to the final counting center, wouldnt the pacaba realise and objected to it?and pr can even challenge in court to prove or show it to public that bn did send it extra boxes.if at the end of the day wasnt challenged by pacaba, then close case.it was their own fault.your ketua told u they used pencil to vote, if they gave a valid reason, and accepted by both pacaba.then the issue is over too.so back to my question, phantom voters, foreigner voting etc, how it happened? maybe they did send huge swarm of bangladeshi here with the intention to vote for them but maybe it just didnt turn out as they thought it would be(ppl realised it) so they sort of 'retreated'.at least i think so.haha.

ChoKang Lew 可是就是很多人选择相信网上都是真的。也不认同自己分析能力差。我这样说，将会一窝蜂被骂。去做个实验，尝试称赞民联，你会很快得到很多like。去说一些比较中立、没有立场、或者稍微批评国阵的同时也批评民联，你不会受理。可以的话，试试看。至少我是这样认为。所以我说，其实政府控制了主流媒体，反对党何尝也不是主宰了网络媒体。:)

I need inspiration. When my colleague asked me(or the rakyat) to prove that there were phantom voters, there were dirty tactics used, it wasn't a transparent election. How should I prove that? To a certain extend he is right - Malaysian are accusing without proof and that is unfair. How should I convince him ?(p/s: He is basically 'apolitical', we were just discussing issues.) The only answer I can come out with thus far: You don't need prove sometimes, you just know, with you conscience.

Hey Malaysia, in this what we called 'closet ever leadership race', I hope you will be fine tomorrow. To me, what matters most is the cleanliness and transparency of the election process. Doesn't matter if the party I support lose in a fair election, I will admit the defeat, I will not spreading slanders or rumours with accusation without proof, and I will respect your fellow citizens' choices as much as you would like us to. That's what we have been lacking, and needing the most after all. 其实我要的，就只是明天的选举是干净和透明，那个最重要。谁赢谁输，还是其次。前提是，明天是公平的。不过还是希望马来西亚的明天，永远比今天好。

Here's little thing you can do for our country besides casting your vote, anyone interested in becoming PACABA(Polling Agent, Counting Agent, Barung Agent) on general election day? Huge amount of volunteers are needed.

Then come back if nothing works out because u have no regrets coz u done it all! Been there and do that! Denise Teoh This is what my parents told me as well because that's what old people have in their mind. Security and stability is the main concern. I dont know how u will be able to sort this out with ur family, probably give u a year or half a year to do things that u want or try ur luck since ur holding the visa and if nothing works out, then u will come back. Another way is register with those job finding website and apply while ur in Malaysia if u still longing to go back there. If nothing comes out from there, at least u have something that ur trying to work on in Malaysia. If there's a will, there'a way. Who knows ur going to make it big here in Malaysia? After all, as much as u still love it there, u have to understand that finding jobs there now is hard with the current law that they 'prefer' EU citizens to go in especially Eastern European who are more hardworking and under EU, Not saying that u cant get a job there but then again, it is always good to have safety net as much as ur heart is calling u there. :) We probably should come out yumcha and talk this over! :)

Here's the thing: 'Not in our culture' has always been the "excuse", as one would say by the Malaysian or most Asian societies to prohibit or forbid someone to do something. But hey,interracial marriage is not in our culture, worshipping western world is not our culture,celebrating Christmas didn't use to be our culture and so on and forth...but we did it all. And most importantly, the root question is, what is 'culture' and who can define precisely what is not in 'our' culture? Yes, we tend to confuse and combine our 'culture' and our 'lifestyle' - wearing jeans, western formal suit are not our culture but nothing more than lifestyle. So, please, if you ever wanna stop someone from doing something again, get a better excuse, come out with a more constructive argument. You and even the majorities are nobody and too petit to tell us what our culture is. For me, I believe we all have in our culture to do things right, and adapt to what is beneficial to us, just like non native speaking English today. So, be smarter, do the right thing, be more civilised. After all, not what we are, but who we are that matters. Please, be on the right side of the history.
